First Step Farm (FSF) has teamed up with Lisa Morr Stables and First Light to bring San Luis Obispo the all inclusive riding experience! We can take you from your first ride, to your first show and we can do it in a Fun and Safe learning environment.
At First Step Farm, kids and adults will learn the basics of riding on safe and well behaved lesson ponies and horses. We have a horse for every age and ability, and in almost every color! As your riding lessons progress, we offer half and full leases so clients can get a feel of the responsibilities that come with horse ownership. If and when you decide to buy a horse, Lisa Morr stables has many options as far as boarding. We have community pastures, covered pipe stalls, and a raised center aisle Show Barn. The show barn has 12x12 stalls and includes daily turnouts, groom service, 3x day feeding, and blanketing.
If you are bitten by the horse show bug, Lisa travels to many A thru AAA rated shows including Thermal, The Oaks, Woodside and many more. First Light is the horse show team and we strive to have a competitive but fun learning experience.
